ESTIMATING CASTING RESIN VOLUME REQUIRED
Estimating the amount of casting resin needed to make a casting can be a difficult task. However, not having enough resin or having too much resin left over is not only frustrating, but costly. This estimator assumes that your original model dimensions now represent the dimensions of a negative mold cavity. It correlates these dimensions with the cubic inch per pound (or cubic centimeter per kilo) yield of the Smooth-On plastic that you select.
